Today is Halloween and my kids look adorable!

I'm back!!

OK...It's been a LONG time. Things have been crazy.
Let's see...we went to Lake George on vacation for a week,
we celebrated our 5 year anniversary on 08/23, Niko started
preschool and Niko and Sophia started a drop off gym class!
whew! I made a couple of sales on etsy and will be participating in

In Memory of Amanda

Well, we aren't having a good week. :(
We had to put Amanda to sleep today.
She will be greatly missed! Nicknack (our ragdoll)
is still looking for her. He's not going to be happy
being the only cat. We will all miss Amanda very much!

Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes though.
We really appreciate it!

Update on Amanda

It looks like Amanda has Diabetes. We aren't sure at this point if we will be able to control it or not. She may have other things going on. We will find out in a few days. Thanks so much for being such good friends and all the E-mails. I'll let everyone know as soon as I know more. THANKS!

I didn't get to the animal section on ETSY this week due to the unexpected turn of events.
I hope to get to it next week.

In memory of Rexy!

Rexy passed away yesterday. He had an inoperable tumor.
He will be greatly missed!

Amanda is still holding on so we hope that we will get good news on her
later today!!

Well, the weekend is almost over and it's been a busy one!
We went to a pool family party and all had fun! The kids are water rats!!
Husband too!

Father's Day

Haven't blogged in a while. Things have been been crazy and now Father's Day will
be at our house too. Since I lost the women that was helping with the kids (she got a
F/T job offer) I haven't had a chance to add my new items to my etsy site. Hopefully that will change as soon as the kids are out of school and I have a new "mommy's helper". God knows I can use the help! I will be adding my necklaces soon and a beautiful artist journal!! I also will have
a bunch of note cards. All one of a kind, of course. All should be ready to shop for by next week.

First order complete!

ahhhhh....my first order was to Whimsy Boutique and Gallery for 8 frames and 6 sets of cards!
Now I can start getting ready for the 60 people that will be coming to my house for Niko's 4th birthday party on Sunday! UGH!

Well I got my first order! It was a wholesale order so I didn't really make money on it BUT
I love that my frames and cards will be in the Grand Opening of Whimsy Boutique and Gallery in
Chesterton, Indiana! WOOOHOOO!

It's Tuesday and all is well, except for the weather!

No buys on Etsy yet...but I did have people mark Sassy and Dapper as favorites!

wooohooo! I finally added some items to my on-line store and opened! I still have to upload my jewelry pictures though. Tomorrow is another day. I have some more stuff to work on this week and I'm looking forward to it. So far I have only posted a few items, as you can see from my gallery above, but it's a start!

I'm just so happy it's Friday. I am hoping to be able to
take some pictures of my items that I have created for etsy
and start posting over the weekend. I just entered this weeks Prima giveaway!
I love Prima Marketing's stuff. From the flowers to the say it in crystals,
and I can't forget the clear albums now....I LOVE IT ALL! Love Prima!

ahhhh...I had a chance to work on my site
www.sassyanddapper.com this week and create
some crafts to post this weekend on Etsy.
It wasn't easy to find the free time to design
but free time doesn't come easy, these days!
Tonight, I joined a great site www.splitcoastampers.com.
I found a dress card in paper crafts magazine and it said
the template came from Split Coast. They had some really nice templates
and ideas. Highly recommended!
Well it's late and I still want to work on the site
a little so....signing off...nighty, nighty!
