I made a frame and gift box, which holds a sexy nighty* for a friends Bridal shower tonight. I hope she likes them!! I also made the favors...little topiaries. :)

Blooming Tuesday

Well, I didn't get any pictures to participate in Bloomin Tuesday this week so I'm making it Kitty Tuesday over on my blog! I love flowers but I love kitties even more so here are my kitties!! >^..^<


This is Nicky. We call him Knicknack! He is a male ragdoll and can be very fresh!! He will snuggle up with you and purr, then bite ya! But he is beautiful!




This is Callie. She was meowing out my office window for days at the beginning of the winter. I fed her a few times and then she let me pet her. Then I realized she had no claws. :(
I took her in my house, posted signs in the neighborhood, hoping to find her family, but nobody claimed her.
Soooooooo SHE'S MINE NOW! :) She is Super Sweet!!!

Blue Monday...

Wood frame stamped repeatedly with an Anna Griffin floral stamp, heat embossed, and heavily distressed with blue ink on top. The ribbon and tag add just the right touch.

How to enhance a flower with some text....

I have so many Prima flowers and I love them but sometimes I want to change them up a bit!

I first punched out some large circles from a play book. Then I inked them with a gold ink for a light effect.



I cut slits in them...



For each flower I used 2 layers. Crumbled them up a bit...


Then placed a blue prima flower in the center...


Added a X brad to one and a O brad to another!


I also made some more and used them as such. I used blue ink on the top layer and brown ink on the bottom layer for this one...
