How to enhance a flower with some text....

I have so many Prima flowers and I love them but sometimes I want to change them up a bit!

I first punched out some large circles from a play book. Then I inked them with a gold ink for a light effect.



I cut slits in them...



For each flower I used 2 layers. Crumbled them up a bit...


Then placed a blue prima flower in the center...


Added a X brad to one and a O brad to another!


I also made some more and used them as such. I used blue ink on the top layer and brown ink on the bottom layer for this one...

Getting ready...

ahhhh...I had a chance to work on my site
www.sassyanddapper.com this week and create
some crafts to post this weekend on Etsy.
It wasn't easy to find the free time to design
but free time doesn't come easy, these days!
Tonight, I joined a great site www.splitcoastampers.com.
I found a dress card in paper crafts magazine and it said
the template came from Split Coast. They had some really nice templates
and ideas. Highly recommended!
Well it's late and I still want to work on the site
a little so....signing off...nighty, nighty!
